Hi everyone,
I know that you have all been wondering "what ever happened to Indi?"
and commenting to yourselves "Gee, it's a long time since we have seen any of Indira's stunning work!". Some of you may have even said "who the hell is this Indi person anyway?"
The answer to these and other questions are about to become clear to you :

Did you miss the original, award winning production of You're An Idiot at the One act Festivals of '96?
Did you see it, but said to yourself," I wish I could see that again in about 5 years"
Well now is your chance -
"You're An Idiot" the brilliant black comedy by Paul Tolton is having a second run at the WA Fringe Festival, performed by three of the biggest idiots your ever likely to meet, Indira McDonald, David Gardette and Jarrad West.
Directed by Indira McDonald and Jodi Cant, You're An Idiot is a fast moving comedy about two guys, a girl, a gun, dead goldfish, an antique metal groin guard and edible parachutes. When it was first performed the season sold out. Audiences of all ages howled, especially those who couldn't get a ticket.
Don't forget You're An Idiot, you'd be stupid to miss it!!!!!

RE: You're An Idiot

Hi Indi,

1996 was my first year of involvement with the ITA. At the first committee meeting after the State One-Act Drama Festival of that year, I stated that I would gladly pay money to again enjoy Celtic Circle's "A Different Way to Die", Playlovers' "Bar and Ger" and Darlington's "You're an Idiot". It was too late to do anything for that year, but I proposed that in future, the State Drama Festival should have an "Encore Night" where the winning plays of the Festival could be re-enjoyed.

Now's our chance to see, once again, one of the funniest one-act plays I've ever seen (plus reminisce about an extra special backstage treat!). For split-your-sides hilarity, "You're an Idiot" gets my strongest possible recommendation.

Thanks Indi,
JB

RE: You're An Idiot

Hey Jarrad
Thanks a lot. I too agree You're an Idiot would have to be the funniest script I have ever had anything to do with. I'm not just saying that because I'm trying to sell tickets and I hope you're not just saying that because I had a few quick changes in the wings with you on the curtains!!!
Anyway
Get your tickets fast, selling like hotcakes
