S O U R C E R Y
Tue, 24 Oct 2000, 03:56 pmBlak Yak Theatre Presents...
Terry PratchettÂ’s
SOURCERY
Explosions! Harem girls! Apes! What more could a sane person ask for - other then jelly?! ItÂ’s Sword and Sorcery meets The Arabian Nights meets Bottom! Magic happens, and it just got nasty!
Basically, itÂ’s a story about the end of the world and the four unlikely heroes who have been bought together to fight it, and the ten year old boy who has caused it. ThereÂ’s sword fights. ThereÂ’s love. ThereÂ’s atmosphere. ThereÂ’s people being turned inside out! As you can see, it contains all the basic ingredients for a well rounded show! HereÂ’s what some people who have seen the show have thought:
“As colourful as a jelly-bean vomit underneath a flashing neon sign.” - Some famous art critic guy
“(Sourcery) is a philosophical and thought provoking show, giving a rare insight into the human condition.” - Some guy who saw the wrong show
“Hand me the spatula and find me a wombat!” - The director during rehearsals

8th, 10th, 11th @ The Xanten Centre, Treasure Rd, Queens Park
