REQUEST FOR DONATIONS
Thu, 8 Sept 2005, 09:07 pmAPPEAL FOR DONATIONS TO RUN THE DAVO WINCHEST COLLEGE IN PHIILIPPINES
Davao Winchester Colleges, Inc.,Philippines is a non-profit, educational institution,established
during 2000,offering pre-school education,elementary education,secondary education,2-year technical
courses and four year degree courses. The colleged is experiencing serious problems due to the
inability of the original founders to secure the required government permits prior to operation.
The original administration had to quit due to severe financial losses and some legal problems.
During July,2001 myself and my wife with the financial support from her sister in Los Angeles,
California had to assume the administration . We immediately got the legal permits from the
Department of Education.
The College is being run without the major facilities like the computer laboratory, library
holdings,speech laboratory, science laboratory, etc. We invested so much just to achieve the
permits.Now we have also got the permission for Bachelor of science and Science in Criminology .
Now the financial situation of the College is in bad shape,since the supporters are not in sound
condition to continue their support, We hardly have enough funds to run the College now. However,
teachers are ready to sacrifice half of their salary for the sake of College,we cannot cut
short the money being spent on the poor and orphaned students. It is our motto to provide shelter,
best education,food etc. to as many poor and orphaned students as possible.
Closing of the College at this time will deprive the poor children from getting their basic
education and at the same time 60 teachers who are taking half salaries will be jobless.It is
our earnest appeal to all of you help us generously to help the children. At the same time
spread our appeal to others and request them to help the childredn and the school.
