Jesus Christ Superstar!

Picton Theatre Group proudly presents Jesus Christ Superstar! the famous rock opera by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. The audience is guaranteed a great performance every night with brilliant music and a cracking score. Shows will be open Friday and Saturday evenings throughout September.

This all new production of Jesus Christ Superstar tells the world’s oldest story with astonishing theatricality. This extremely professional and beautiful production has a few unique features – rock up (excuse the pun) to find out what they are! Picton Theatre Group has put together a great cast of experienced local singer/actors and those making their stage debut. The role of Jesus is played by Greg Windred, Brett McPherson is Judas, and Sarah Schols plays the part of Mary Magdalene.

Jesus Christ Superstar is presented in the historic Picton Shire Hall adding to the theatrical magic. You can select the famous Picton Theatre Group Dinner Show at 6:30pm on Saturdays 3, 10, 17, 24 September or if you prefer, Show Only performances are being held at 8:30pm on Friday evenings 2, 9, 16, 23 September.
