This class is an introduction to the world of improv comedy and is for anybody who wants to try their hand at HOO-HAA style improvisation.

The class will equip you with the skills to:

- Let go and have fun on stage

- Work creatively and cohesively with fellow performers

- Listen, accept and extend ideas that are generated in performance

- Make people laugh using improv and bad mime

- Use improv skills to build scenes, develop storylines and create original characters

- Tap into your creativity and spontaneity to generate comedy sketches
- Build performance awareness and comic timing

This six week course will be taught by the awesomely funny and talented Sean Walsh. Sean is an improviser who has been performing with The Big HOO-HAA! For the past three years. He is also a professional actor (recently scene in States of Shock) and has taught improvisation for longer than he can remember (about two years).

What: A six week basic improv course

Where: Lazy SusanÂ’s Comedy Den, upstairs @ the Brisbane Hotel, 292 Beaufort Street, Northbridge.

When: 7pm Tuesdays, starting 2nd of August
