Fri, 15 July 2005, 12:19 pmUnfortunately for us the role of “Doug” in Blacktown City Community Theatre’s (NSW) production of the award winning play “Cosi” has to be recast.
Written by popular playwright Louis Nowra, Cosi is a poignant look at life through the eyes of patients in an insane asylum while on another level itÂ’s a hilarious take on the madness of creative endeavour as Lewis, a young director takes on the job of directing a production of MozartÂ’s Cosi Fan Tutte with the patients as stars.
At times moving and at times hilarious, Cosi has become one of the most successful Australian plays produced in the last decade
Doug is a pyromaniac larger than life character with a really psychotic edge to him. Ideally we need a male 20-28 or someone who could pull of that age.
We rehearse on Monday and Wed evenings in Blacktown, so if your committed and ready to have some fun on a great show contact Nicole 0416 048 054 for more details.
The show is on at the fabulous Blacktown Art Centre Friday 14th October through to Saturday 24th October 2005.

My name is Felix Kerry and i am an Indigenous australian, i am currently looking for an acting career. my dream is to become an actor in representing our indigenous people. and a mentor to our young people and encourageing them to go forward and and express them selves through the arts! i have recently been involed in a theatre forum called "Faite Comple" it was directed by Frank Newman.
