TITLE: “Segua: A Latin-American Myth” ** Approx. 3-5 Mins.
SYNOPSIS: The ancient legend of “La Segua” is a moral story that roots itself in traditional Costa Rican folklore. The legend tells of the vengeful spirit of a woman who seeks out and punishes adulterous men wandering home alone at night. This short film is an adaptation of that tale.
CHARACTER:
The Woman
Female;
Age Range: Early-Twenties to Mid-Twenties;
Dark Hair; Dark Eyes;
Any Look; Slim Build; Must be a Smoker.
SHOOT: DATE: Saturday 25th June 2005; TIME: 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM; PLACE: South Eastern Suburbs; INDOORS/OUTDOORS: 100% Outdoors.
“Segua: A Latin-American Myth” will be screened as part of the "Legends From Latin-America" segment on the brand new television program “Fusion Latina” on Channel 31 which features Latin-American Music, Food, Art and Culture.
