CALLING ALL PPL SICK OF AUS TV AND FILMS
Sun, 8 May 2005, 06:26 pmAre you sick of TV at the moment? What about the Australian film industry – are you sick of b-grade films that no one hears about and are only played in obscure theatres? Are you sick of Australia’s best export being ‘Neighbours’? are you sick of seeing local TV only including both kinds – reality and soapy? Yeah?! ME TOO!! I’m also sick of people (including me) bitch about it and expect someone else to fix this drought. I have ideas for films and at least one TV show which I believe can work. I’ve been through a bunch of websites asking about selling scripts and every one sends me to a US site – even the Australian Film Corporation. The best way to approach this I’ve gathered is in a group – ie: writers, actors, director, etc. I’m a 19 year old who has studied acting and has some experience and I’m looking for like-minded people. If anyone is interested in what I’m saying and want to be a part of a group such as this please email me Katie_elliott@iprimus.com.au and maybe we can make some changes.

Hi, I absolutely agree with your article, this nation could have the best films and movies... ever.
If you want to talk further, please email or call 0411532070.
Finding the right crew is searching for gold in an obsolete gold mine. We are victims of our own fears that stop us from serious gold digging adventures. Not this puppy dog...I believe if you search with all of your heart with the purest of persistence, then... we will reap the rewards.
Jesse.
