Director Required

Cosmic Players is searching for a Theatre Director to undertake the responsibility of a new Australian Play (farce), written by Darren Brealey and Stuart Pursell, Comfort Zone. The play will be performed during the 2005 Melbourne Fringe Festival in September and October and rehearsals will commence in late June.

The Writers of the play are searching for a Theatre Director with the following qualities:

* Have directed shows previously in a professional (paid) environment
* Available for auditions, all rehearsals and production meetings
* A very good understanding of MelbourneÂ’s theatre industry
* Prepared to work with the production during the performance season in Sept / Oct 2005
* Able to communicate articulacy with creative team and production team
* Be articulate in all facets of the theatre industry
* Have the ability to work within a restricted budget
* Ability to relate on a personal level to people from different walks of life
* Must be a team player
* Must have a sense of humour
