Actors required

Hi everyone,

I'm a 3rd year film student at ECU Mt Lawley, looking for cast for my short film, Chessclub.

It's a story... about chess. And about one man who is willing to do whatever it takes to win the professional finals, including resorting to extreme violence.

What we're looking for are two main actors, several supporting roles, and extras.

James St. James
Male, 19-23 years old, brooding, unshaven. He lost the State chess finals the previous year and is out for revenge.

David Whiteman
Male, 21-28 years old, a condescending wanker. Last year he won the State finals by cheating, and since then he is JamesÂ’ nemesis.

The Judge
30-60 years old, present at all league chess games. Committed to the job.

Mike, Dan, Tommy
JamesÂ’ mates, all 18-25 years old. Rabidly supportive of JamesÂ’ chess club.

Extras also needed
Children, adults, two old men, and anyone who wants to be in a crowd.
