ARE YOU A FABULOUS PUBLIC SPEAKER AND BORN PERFORMER?

WANT TO WORK ON SYDNEYÂ’S NEWEST & FUNKIEST CULTURAL EVENT!

Currently studying and working in the performing arts and know the value of diverse work experience? The NSW PremierÂ’s Department, Office of Protocol & Special Events, is looking for experienced public speakers and performers with genuine enthusiasm for large public events, to be part of the team for Discovery After Dark 2005.

WHEN: Saturday 2nd April, 4pm - midnight

WHATÂ’S INVOLVED? Limited time for event briefings & job specific training, as well as being available on the event night

WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Our Event Guides are required to travel on each of our charter buses, which will run between all 31 venues on the night. They will be scripted with vital operational information, however will be encouraged to include their unique personalities and enhance the patron experience.

Sydney is an amazing city. From famous icons to little known treasures, the city hosts a feast of experience and cultural expressions of who we are. Discovery After Dark is a chance to explore all of that – in one glittering night together with live entertainment & bus transfers.

WhoÂ’s involved?
More than 30 venues are participating including: Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Army Museum of NSW, Art Gallery of NSW, Australian Centre of Photography, Australian Heritage Fleet – James Craig, Australian Museum, Australian National Maritime Museum, Government House, Hyde Park Barracks Museum, Justice & Police Museum, Museum of Australian Currency Notes – Reserve Bank of Australia, Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Freemasonry, Museum of Sydney, Powerhouse Museum, Red Box Gallery – Royal Botanic Gardens, S.H. Ervin Gallery, St Mary’s Cathedral, State Library of NSW, State Records Gallery, Susannah Place Museum, Sydney Jewish Museum, Sydney Hospital & Sydney Eye Hospital, Sydney Observatory, Sydney Town Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The Lucy Osburn -Nightingale Museum, The Macleay Museum – The University of Sydney, The Nicholson Museum – The University of Sydney, UTS Gallery – The University of Technology, University Art Gallery & Great Hall – The University of Sydney.
