You believe that you have all those skills, yet you cannot spell simple words such as 'really' and 'very' or usecorrect grammar and punctuation. This concerns me greatly. Being the age of thirteen, I believe your English skills should be of a much higher standard. To be taken seriously in your pursuit of acting, I suggest you apply time and effort to make sure these things are done correctly.

I suggest micky looks at his own spelling (usecorrect?). Besides, I never knew how to spell at thirteen... Sometimes I still don't, and my mother, who is 50, still doesn't!
Vivienne, the fact is, that no 'big breaks' exist on this page. Get some classes, an agent, and keep on trying. Hard work and enthusiasm will get you further than your spelling will. (Although it helps to spell correctly too!)

i agree with the previous post about needing hard work to succeed, but i get ticked off with people like micky who lay into someone for their spelling. The girl wanted advice, and you're remark about spelling and grammar was un called for and mean.
If you can't give constructive advice, don't reply at all.
She's only 13 and excited about her future. Don't let your rejections ruin her enthusiasm.
To the original poster: I wish you all the best. My advice is to get into a youth theatre program and work really hard, and hopefully you will get somewhere.

Re: 13 year old wanting to be an actor!
By the way na, I would called (usecorrect) a grammatical error rather than a spelling error. A simple mistake of not including the needed 'space' between words. Furthermore, the spelling and grammar is dramatically improved upon that of Vivienne.
Let me also add, I could spell better than Vivienne at 11 years of age or even younger, and I myself now am only 14.
By the way, I am female. You referred to me as if I am male, which I found offensive. Micky is short for Mickaela.

Re: 13 year old wanting to be an actor!
May I suggest not being pedantic - mistakes can happen. Tone of voice is ambigious in text. Even with emoticons. Let's lay up on the spelling and grammar, and suggest useful comments. I am 23 and am regularly hired for my technical skills - not for how well my CV is laid out. The same goes for actors. It does help to spell correctly, but it's not going to be the end of the world if you make a mistake - at any age.
