Foot in the door

I'm fairly new to this site and not sure as to how to go about getting my foot in the door for auditions in musical theatre. I have been taking singing lessons for about 4 years now and want to do something with the voice I've developed.
I'm 32 ears of age and live in Sydney's Lower North Shore
Can someone please give me some direction
