Actress Wanted for WA Feature Film
Fri, 11 Feb 2005, 02:03 amActress Wanted
Confident actress (22-28yrs) wanted for unfunded independent
feature to be filmed in WA.
Based on a clearly defined outline rather than a hardwired script
it will require improvisation and discovery in the rehearsal stage.
Dealing with the inherent differences between the way that men
and women communicate with themselves and each other it needs
someone who is not afraid to explore a characters weaknesses.
I'm looking for someone who wants to generate their own material
rather than report someone else's, someone who is not afraid to
be emotionally explicit without being melodramatic.
(Think Ingmar Bergman by way of John Cassavetes.)
I am looking to start rehearsing Late Feb-Early March for a
Late March-Early April shoot.
Once again, confidence and a willingness to create are a must.

The ad says 'Actress wanted'. That means you have to already BE an actress to get the part.
If you really want to be an actress, but aren't already, I suggest you join a theatre company and/or get some training.
Cheers,
Craig
