NSW SYDNEY AGENTS
Wed, 9 Feb 2005, 05:24 pmI know that some people have had topics like this one before. Everyone says get an agent. But which one. I have the list from Alliance ana have contacted the ones closest to me but the best thing is to get a name from word of mouth. So can anyone please give me the name of one in Sydney. I live in Woollahra which is near Edgecliff and I do classes at N.I.D.A, ATYP and I do school drama.
I am 13 years old and some only take over 18's.
A reply here is fine.
Many thanks

Re: NSW SYDNEY AGENTS
Hey,
Im a fourteen year old actor too, and was looking for an agent in Sydney for quite some time. I think the main thing is that at this age you don't need an agent. You need to keep an eye out for parts available (there are alot for teens) and go to every audition you can. I just got a callback for a Potential Cannes Film Festival film and a Stage Production in the City and I don;t have an agent or any kind of representation. Just keep an eye out and be prepared to give it all your best.
Hope That Helps.
Good Luck :)
Josh

Re: NSW SYDNEY AGENTS
Hey thanks for your help.
Good Luck with your Film I really hope you get it.
I will try to look out for audition notices but everyone says to look in the paper and the only ones I see are Theatre ones.
I will try them to, they are usually adults and the theatres are all so far away. They also don't have emails and I prefer emailing than calling because I get scared that I'll stuff up.
Good Luck With your career in film and I hope that you get the part in the film.
Thanks for your help Josh.
