Tue, 4 Jan 2005, 10:35 pmHi Michaela,
I'm not a proffesional actress or singer or anything like that, but i'll give you a little advice...
If your in school, do drama.. It gives you alot of experience and is a great learning experience.
I'm not from the Sydney area (As I'm in Perth), but I imagine that there are alot of courses around for Singing and acting lessons, check your local Recreation Centre, or look under the phone book under Singing/Modelling-Casting Agencies.
You can enrol in a course there, get experience, and If they work with companies for TV Series/Commercials/Films etc, you may even be lucky enough to do extra work.
Also check out your local theatre groups, most have auditions a few times a year, especially musical/pantomimes, which you can sing, act, and dance in, and if you like doing that, it would definatly be suitable for you. (Check your local paper for up-coming auditions, and on this site, which have them regulary.)
Hope this helps.....
