12 year old looking for acting job

I am currently looking for an acting job so i can make some money for my family as we are hard on cash at the moment. so ye id love to act!

I don't mean to criticise, but surely if you're family is hard up on cash, it might be wiser to perhaps find a more dependable job. Unless you have an agent, you are not likely to get sufficient work, if any, in the acting arena. So, please don't expect this pursuit to bring you much money in the near future. Perhaps you could do some jobs within your local community in order to get some extra cash for your family.

umm basically the reason i wanted an acting job is so when i want to do things for entertainment i can pay for myself that mainly the reason

I agree with Johnny. Bethany while you have good intentions, I can tell you that earning money now from entertainment will not help you afford to do your own thing later on. I am 22 and have my own theatre company. Three of us own it, and we put in $1000 each. We did one show and now have $500 left in the bank. We are all doing part or full time work in non-entertainment industries just so we can afford to do our second show.

If you want to earn some money for your family or for yourself (and to save it, not spend it on unnecessary things) then try getting a job in another industry. Even professionals find it hard to earn a decent income from the entertainment industry.

I hope you do find some acting work, and earn money from it, but please think about this very hard before going into it.
