FEMALE ACTORS (MELBOURNE) WANTED

For LEADING ROLES in

‘BONDAGE’

A low budget feature length quasi science fiction drama-mockumentary
which has commenced shooting in Melbourne and will resume shooting
from late February/early March 2005.

‘Bondage’ is set in an unspecified future when all Australians are
artificially created by geneti engineering companies and programmed for
their roles in life. It follows the trials and tribulations of a young woman
who discovers she is unable to assume her role as Bondage and
Discipline mistress and is cast out of society. In the end, we are left with a
question: is it even worth belonging to a society from which all human-
ness and humanity have been lost?

The title has two meanings – the way individuals are bonded to society
and the Bondage and Discipline of the leading charactersÂ’ roles in that
society.

Although the roles involve simulated sex scenes and Bondage and
Discipline, it is not intended as an explicit or graphic film. Sexual violence
is suggested rather than shown with the camera focusing mainly on faces
and their expressions. The predicted rating will be M. However, some
partial nudity will be required for realism along with a general willingness
to perform sex scenes as part of the story.

Leading roles to be cast include

LAYLA, the principal lead role. About 20, programmed as a Bondage and
Discipline slave/mistress, she expresses vulnerability combined with inner
strength. She has a masochistic streak which enables her to enjoy being
a slave in Bondage and Discipline settings but is also able to switch roles
and dominate others.

‘Bondage’ is her story and follows her attempts to rejoin society after
discovering she is unable to fulfil her programmed role.

This is a challenging role. Layla undertakes a traumatic journey through
the underbelly of this cold, soulless future society. The actress who plays
her must be prepared to act in two simulated violent (but not graphic) anal
rape scenes, and two simulated Bondage and Discipline scenes. A real
and experienced BDSM Mistress will oversee the BDSM aspect to ensure
safety. Partial nudity in two scenes is also required for realism.

TANYA, about 26. LaylaÂ’s older genetic sibling. Has her own BDSM salon
(Salon 61)-cum-apartment where she works as a Dominatrix with her
Eurasian transsexual partner, Higeo. On the surface, she is a tough, spiky
neo-Punk, able to dish out ‘punishment’ with cold aloofness. But
underneath, she is secretly a marshmellow. Her programming has simply
not worked. She is pretending to be who she is meant to be to avoid being
cast out of society and becoming a dreaded ‘Stray’, but in the end, she
realizes there is no point in pretending any longer.

This is also a challenging lead role since the first half is pent being
convincingly tough, spiky, aloof. She must then pull off a realistic
transformation where she reveals to Layla the soft, feminine being
underneath.

The actress who plays this role must be prepared to perform as a
dominatrix in one simulated BDSM scene which will be set up and
supervised by an experienced BDSM Mistress. She must also be
prepared to perform in one violent (but not graphic) rape scene as the
victim.

PETA, about 30. A chameleon-like androgynous hermaphrodite who can
cleverly turn him/herself into virtually anyone. Ostensibly, the leader of an
underground group of renegade ‘Strays’ (outcasts), he/she displays a
cool, aloof exterior to the world but can become suddenly violent or
unexpectedly passionate. Everything he/she expresses is an act. Or is it?
Unpredictable and extremely dangerous because you never know who
he/she will turn up as or where, or what he./she may do next. This role
could be played by more than one actress.

This is another challenging lead role. The actress who plays this role must
sometimes play a quasi male figure.
In one scene he/she violently (but not graphically) ‘rapes’ Layla. Her
relationship with Layla is a passionate master/slave one with LaylaÂ’s
masochism sparking his/her sadistic tendencies. Having addicted Layla to
a potentially lethal drug during Layla’s ‘teenage’ period, she now controls
her by offering and withholding the drug.

All roles are offered on a deferred pay basis but all material expenses
(petrol/transport, costume allowance, catering etc) will be paid..
