Sun, 3 Oct 2004, 10:29 amHello everyone my name is Josie and i have always wanted to be a part of the tv well i am sure everyone has there hopes and dreams but i really want mine to come true...i am 13 years old and i am looking for a audition for a movie or ad in kapiti coast new zealand it is hard to find any auditions around here but in december 2005 i will be in australia and there may be some hope i can audition atleast for a movie or part of an ad...i just want to be part of something...i have a real talent for drama i can pull of anything i basicly have a real talent to make people believe something that can't be believable (which is called lying i know) but there is hope yet i can have a part for something i have been to drama class before for about a month but i did'nt really like it i dont need to go to drama class though i am already good anough as it is (an't i a show off) so plz if anyone can email me lil_devil_magic@hotmail.com i would love to here from you about any opitunities welcome....thank you very much for your paitence

Tue, 5 Oct 2004, 08:22 pmPersonally if i was you i wouldnt have written that post because i know from my view and from many other peoples that we just tend to ingore these teenagers wanting film jobs. There are too many teenagers (girls especially) for the number fo jobs and if you are REALLY willing to find something then go to your local university. Most of the film or theatre courses need younger actors for there plays. You won't get paid, but if you are really looking because you love it, then it wont matter. If that doesn't work then get an agent, search webpages like these daily, look in newspapers, or work behind the scenes on something. Any experience you can get will help you get known and get further jobs. It's not an easy career to persue but if you are as "Good" and dedicated as you say then things like this won't be difficult for you. Also maybe try asking on a webpage that isnt "THEATRE" directed, or maybe try theatre. Because to me it sounds like you, and all the other teenage girls just want the fame and glamour or TV and MOVIES and ADS. Try theatre. It's harder, it's more thrilling and there's more oppotunities for you.
