German actors required
Wed, 15 Sept 2004, 02:42 pmHi Folks
We are currently casting for 2 German telefeatures which will go to air on German television but are being made in WA. The principal cast will come from Germany. However, casting for two key supporting roles will take place in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and of course, it would be most preferable to find local actors in WA.
We are exploring through the various actors' agencies but there may be other actors out there without representation but who do speak German.
One role requires a woman of 30-40 whose first language is German; the other is a man of about 35-45 who can speak fluent German (i.e. does not necessarily have had to be born in Germany)
Please note this is a foreign language film, and everyone in it will speak German (or be dubbed into German) rather than English actors speaking with a "German" accent.
If you are a German actress, or an actor who speaks German, please contact us on casting@jccasting.com.au with subject line "Telefeature".
Renate Earnshaw, are you in Perth?
Thanks

Re: German actors required
Hello,
are you still looking for a german actor?
I am an german actor and at the moment I am staying in SA at my sister`s place (she has been living here for 17 years now).
I am here for holidays until 23rd of january or longer.
I am a trained theater actor with tV experience.
Last series I shot was a 23 parts series for one of our major channels.
I was born in 1968, tall, dark hair, German and English fluently...
If required, I can shoot a short demo tape with the camcorder...
or send photos.
With kind regards
fritz barth

Hi Fritz
You may have been replying to a posting from some months back. Thanks for your interest, but the production has already finished shooting in WA.
Hope you enjoy your stay in Oz.
Cheers
