Casting for a short film, Mlebourne, 28-Aug to 1-SEP

28 Aug - 1 SEP
A seven minute 'heist' movie with the working title of 'Honest Work'
I'm looking for someone to play AUDREY, a woman in her mid-to-late twenties (although age is somewhat flexible), characterised by her calm, confident approach to the world and her native intelligence and charm.
Here's a quick synopsis of the story and where the character fits in:
Primo is a petty criminal who has experienced a recent streak of accidents and mistakes in his 'work' - he's terrified that he's losing his touch, but steadfastly refuses to admit it. He's one step away from being fired from the organisation for which he 'works', but is given a chance to redeem himself with a job to fleece a well-off suburban businessman for his expensive antique watch. While he's on the job, his 'employer' sends him some help - another petty thief called Audrey, a woman that Primo has never met. She so confident and successful a thief that Primo is transfixed and desperate to know what the secret of her success is.
If you're interested, I'd love to hear from you. Send your details to:

PS In spite of my email address at 'police.vic', this film has nothing to do with police! I'm an RMIT film student, as are the crew!
