Behind the Scenes experiance! WA

Hey There, Im looking for some experiance behind the scenes in theatre....I have worked on a T.E.E production last year as I am almost 18 now I want to gain some more knowledge on the art of backstage. I know what I'm doing and VERY keen on the whole idea

The way I got behind the scenes is I chose the place I want to work at and kept going back so see if I could get a job there. Subsequently I now work as a stagehand for His Majesty's Theatre. If you want some more Info donÂ’t hesitated to e-mail me

If you're not looking for payed work, just a bit of experience many theatre companies would be happy to take you under thier wing. Try Under Graduate Dramatic Society, Old Mill Theatre, Melville Theatre or any amature company. They are often very glad to have help. Its a great opportunity to learn a lot

Thanx so much to the both of you. So you work at His Majesty's theatre!! Thats pretty excellent I have no idea where to start. I just want experiance I supposed. But I swear I would clean the floor of the Maj just to get my foot in the door. I save all my pennies to get in for shows such as La Boheme and soon to be "The Comedy of Errors" - go and see my friend Darren Gilshennan!
I have just asked for a membership down at the Blackswan Theatre company so lets see what comes out of that!
