Looking for actors in Melbourne to be in short film.
Tue, 6 July 2004, 09:28 pmIÂ’m going to be shooting a short film from September 26th until October 1st and I require the talent of three male and two female actors before that time.
The film is entitled Bent Duty and is about a corrupt small time police officer who seeks penance and retribution after a local drug runner orders an attack against the officerÂ’s wife for breaking off a business partnership.
ROLES INCLUDE:
MASON DOUMA: Lead male. Young male officer whose personal goal is to provide and protect an honest life for his family after his father was murdered at a young age. However, money has been tight and this has led him to seek illegal sources for funds despite this going against everything he stands for. (Preferably of Mediterranean appearance.)
FELICE PISCOPO: Former police officer and partner to Mason Douma who was thrown off the force after been found positive of cocaine and has always had a disliking for Mason for his serious work ethic.
NICOLA: The bad guy! Middle-aged male drug lord who is an acute and sensible businessman and acts out in correspondence to how this will improve finances. However, despite his somber tone a man of power demands respect.
CALA DOUMA: Hardworking and honest housewife of Mason who is attacked at the start of the film (We donÂ’t her being attacked.) so she mainly lies around and says nothing. (Preferably of Mediterranean appearance.)
HALEY RILO KILEY: Young female police officer of tomboyish appearance who is just one of the blokes down at the force. Been close friends with Mason since being teaming up with him as she lightens the mood when he looks like he needs to relax. (She saves the dayÂ…)
