Director Wanted for first show of 2005 Season
Thu, 24 June 2004, 02:50 amShoestring Theatre Company is now opeining it's doors. After completing 2 shows and a third on the way, we are now looking for new directors to open the 2005 season. We require directors who have a play they wish to put on and a great idea of how to do it. All shows for the 2005 season will be run on a Pro/Am (Profit Share) basis, so there's even a chance at making a little money. Sat, 26 June 2004, 08:45 pmJohn, I have a couple of possible plays to put on, but I am also in WA. Although, I would be open to forfeiting any money I would earn from the show if that money could be used to fly me over. I would only need the flight, because i can get accomodation in melbourne, and the chances are that i could come up with some of the money. I am looking for as many directorial chances as possible, so even if the theatre only pays 25% of the flight, and I pay 75%, i would be really grateful of the chance to direct something in a different theatre.
