The Act-O-Matic 3000 is producing a show for a two week season in Richmond early July.
A male actor of medium to large stature is required to play 'Jim', who is aged at least 35+. The play in question is the short two hander 'Capital' by Van Badham. Authentic American accent (southern if possible) and commitment essential. Intensive rehearsals to be expected over the the coming weeks.
Capital
Jim and Bob are PR experts contracted by the US Government to “positivise” footage of drug-addled Marines murdering Afghani children. They have 15 minutes to come up with a spin before it goes live. Will they succeed? What are the positives of pain? Will Bob make it home in time for his wife’s meatloaf? A vicious satire on war propaganda.
