Why our younger thespians selling themselves on here...
Mon, 3 May 2004, 11:29 amCould the fact that this section is called "Theatre Classifieds" make all the posts by our young thespians sound like the personals section of the Sunday times?
Perhaps we could rename it to something else - I'd suggest something but its 11:29am and its too early for thinking :)

Tue, 4 May 2004, 11:00 amYES - WE (Meaning absolutely EVERYONE out there) are sick to the stomach of the younguns selling themselves here and allowing themselves to be a target for the nasty out there... God Forbid...
Apparently this has only been a problem since approximately Christmas last year...
I remember when I was young, I replied to an advert in The West Australian, one of those "Young Actors for Film Work" kind of ads, thank god my mother came with me to that interview... what a bucket of slime he was... all he could ask me were rotten questions referring to 'casting couch' - couldn't get out of there quick enough...
Even the newspaper adds aren't safe... Don't they teach these kids about stranger danger anymore??
In hope we can find a solution....
