We are proud to announce Auditions for the forthcoming Australian Premiere production of DEBBIE DOES DALLAS: The Musical.

Yes, thatÂ’s right, Debbie Does Dallas is a legitimate musical version of the 1979 soft porn film of the same name. This show originally appeared at the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival. It was a huge hit and had another successful season the following year.

This is a Co-op production produced by The Three Amigos (a theatrical partnership made up of Peter Ross, Martin Kinnane and Paul Hitchens) in association with Peter Darren Productions (who produced Uncle Vanya at the Darlinghurst Theatre last year).
A Co-Op agreement will be issued. The agreement will work on a point system for all involved. We are currently working on securing sponsorship.

This show requires strong acting ability. NOT ALL ACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO SING. The cast size of this show is 8. 5 girls and 3 three guys. There are some fun acting roles for both men and women.
We anticipate that this show will generate a lot of interest and will hopefully be a wonderful way to showcase yourself or your clients.

Please go to www.debbiedoesdallasthemusical.com and follow the Auditions link at the top right hand corner for full Audition details. You can also hear snippets of the Original Cast Recording at http://www.dramatists.com/cgi-bin/db/single.asp?key=3213

Regards,
Peter Ross

I also wrote a letter which was published in today's (Friday 18th Feb) Herald Sun in Melbourne.......I hope the cast and 'Three Amigos' read it.
Any chance you guys could let me know next time you're auditioning for a show?.....well done to all.......Peter Flaherty
