Seeking old cane high backed wheelchair
Wed, 24 Mar 2004, 06:05 pmMy name is Maureen Collett and I am currently in rehearsal with the Gilbert & Sullivan Soc. We are performing Pirates of Penzance in May (5th-9th) at the Playhouse.
We are in desperate need of an old cane high backed wheelchair and it was suggested to me that I contact ITA to see if anyone here in Perth has one that they would lend us.
I can be located on 93775964 or email mozza28@ozemail.com.au.
Thanks,
Maureen

Actually the one we used for Amadeus came from WAAPA. I understand it was _the_ chair used in the original stage production of Amadeus. The story was that it was picked up by the then registrar of WAAPA, (help me out with this name someone, it was so long ago now!) Don Paynter?, now deceased.
Cheers
