Othello is playing at the Subi Theatre Centre this morning at 10am and this evening at 7.30pm.
Several tickets are released one hour before each show - so don't miss your chance to see this Shakespearean masterpiece directed by Mr Stephen Lee with a fabulous cast!

Look, if we can keep 100 16 year olds engrossed for 3 hours - we must be doing something right!

Tickets: $14.90/$19.90

hahahahaha...

I saw Othello on the 18th of March. Being a sixteen yr old myself i thought you might like to know that although i loved reading othello, and yes, that did keep me engrossed for over 3 hours, the rendition i saw by class act, however, was the most boring piece of theatre i have witnessed! The actors were not bad but the monotonous set and costumes hardly kept me and my classmates "engrossed", I understand that this was done to make the audience more absorbed into the story and emotion behind the play, I'm just letting you know that if you think 100 16 yr olds were engrossed by that performance, you must have been talking to some pretty talented young actors!

kind regards

16

ps. Note to the actors; please do not take offence as your acting was quite good it was other factors that made the play disinteresting.

Thou warped toad-spotted joithead!
