Publicity and Media Manager needed
Wed, 11 Feb 2004, 08:00 pmPublicity and Media Manager needed ASAP for our upcoming theatre production that will take place in late May early June within the Melbourne Area.
Duties for Publicity Manager include: Organise publicity Crew, attend production meetings, assist in the design of posters, postcards etc. Organise publicity in publications, photography and publicity shots, and organise publicity campaigns and angles in discussion with director while answering creatively to the director and assistant director as well as answering budget-wise to the Production Manager.
Duties for Media Manager include:
sending out media releases, contacting industry people (comps, reviews etc), organise photo shoots, interviews, reviews, etc. Attend regular production and publicity meetings, source sponsorship or donations for show while also answer to the Publicity Manager.
Experience preferred but not essential. This is a good opportunity for anyone who is interested in gaining some extra experience in publicity and marketing. Communication skills and strong work ethic a must.
