Looking to have FUN!

I can't help thinking after reading all these posts, "what was I doing at 14?"
Well at 14 years old I wanted to have as much fun as I possibly could! Like Freya I dreamed of being an actor, so fun for me entailed prancing around the high school stage, getting involved in amateur theatre, taking music lessons, going to as many shows as I possibly could and running around doing lots of other things that brought me joy and have inadvertantly helped to create the person I am today.
I have to wonder why a 14 year old girl's decision to make a frivolous post has to prompt questions about her future.
The only advice I would offer her is to say live for the moment. Be young and have fun and don't let us old cynics scare you with notions of jobs and money. You have at least 3 years worth of living off your parents before you have to actually consider what it is you are going to do with your life and how you are ever going to pay those bills that are multiplying in your letterbox. At 14 it's all about the fun! And theatre is about fun isn't it? If we didn't enjoy it we wouldn't do it!
I guess my general gist for Freya and others like her is..... if you enjoy acting then get into it! If you enjoy making frivolous posts get into that too! If you enjoy being a catalyst for debate I would suggest it as a career - your debut effort has been a raging success!
