does anyone have any tips on writing an actor resume?
What are the basic guidelines? I want it to look good {who doesn't?} but I'd rather do it myself than get some scam to do it for 50 quid,
any suggestions?

It's really not complicated. Good acting resume requires name, contact details (or agency's details), physical qualities (height, weight, build, colour of eyes and hair). After all that you divide it into four sections: theatre, film, television and advertising. In each section you obviously write your credits. You should give the name of the play/film/ad/show, the character, the company and the director.

Something like that:

Name: Joe Biggy

Address: 12 Big Mommas St Heidelbergus Anonymous 1234

Height: 199 cm

Weight: 99 kg

Build: Heavy athletic

Eyes: grey

Hair: black

THEATRE

Title Role Company Director
Blue Choo Choo Papii Gree Big Al's theatre Marii Bigs

FILM

Title Role Company Director
Big and Beefy Macho Man Omnuversal inc QT

TV

ADVERTISING

Not yet.

Special skills: weightlifting, boxing, singing, dancing.

Hope I've beenof help. Good luck with your career.
