Headshots- Sydney.

Hey,
I'm looking at getting some headshots done- can anyone reccomend a good photographer in Syd? It can be tricky as everyone says to find someone who specialises only in headshots, but I want value for $$ also.

Good headshots, where your're guaranteed to get good lighting and thought put into the photos, help with posing if you need it, etc, is Patrick Jones Studio - Suzie Mitchell. It costs about $300 and you don't get the negatives, but heaps of people I know have used this studio and the photos stand out from others for a natural yet flattering look.

Try Matt Erickson who is a specialist in arts portraits. Not only does he make you look good but he charged about $50 (for actors just starting out). He also gave me advice on what to wear before I went which really helped.

You also have to go to the studio (it's near the wharf at Woolloommoolloo) if you want to get it that cheap. Phone number is 0413 071 571.

PS - make sure he knows you're an amatuer (or just starting out) or the price gets crazy!
