auditions - 2 one-act plays @ Marloo
Sun, 29 June 2003, 04:07 pmMarloo theatre's one act play season is coming up. (Marloo Theatre / Darlington Theatre players in WA)
Auditions will happen on Sunday 6th July at Marloo Theatre, Marloo Rd Greenmount. First, at 10.00am
1. The Real Inspector Hound - Tom Stoppard. The hilarious country house whodunnit, set in the mysterious Muldoon Manor.
Director - Adrian Wood
Cast -
Moon - a theatre critic
Birdboot - another theatre critic
Mrs Drudge - the help
Simon Gascoyne - young, debonair, possibly dangerous
Felicity Cunningham - young, pretty, possibly dangerous
Lady Cynthia Muldoon - beautiful, poised, and possibly dangerous
Major Magnus Muldoon - wheelchair-bound half-brother of Lord Muldoon
Inspector Hound - a detective
Then, at 12:00
2. The Lesson - by Eugene Ionescu
Director - Dan Keel
A chilling, but anarchically funny6 drama of verbal domination. Dream, nonsense and fantasy.
Cast -
The professor - somewhere between fifty and sixty years of age
The girl pupil - eighteen years old
The Maid - somewhere in her forties
