Hi all,

I am looking for actors to fill 2 lead roles in a short film. This is definitely an actor's piece with excellent dramatic potential.

Roles to fill:

"Phil": a middle-aged man (35-45) who has experienced some very serious trauma and is desperately trying to function in his life, despite the fact that it's been torn apart.

"Kimberly": a young-ish woman (25-35), who gets caught up with Phil, finds him attractive, but cannot come to grips with how to deal with Phil's problems.

"Miranda": Phil's wife, who has been forced to leave him due to his handling of the trauma that affected them both.

The work will be unpaid, but we are striving for a fun work environment, with a good group of people committed to making this film something different and emotionally hard-hitting in the short film arena. The film will be submitted to all the film festivals, so will be a great chance to gain exposure.

For a copy of the script, casting sessions or info on the production, please contact me.

Hey all,

Just letting you know the shoot is in Melbourne -- I forgot to put that in the initial post, sorry!

Also, we're planning to film late August/early September for about 5-6 days hopefully. There will be at least a couple of major rehearsals, as the key to this film will be in the acting.

We have now cast the role of Kimberly. Thanks to all who responded expressing interest. We are still looking for talented actors to play Phil (male, 35-45) and Miranda (female, 30-45).

If you are interested, please contact me via my hotmail address -- christopherwithington@hotmail.com -- as I don't regularly check this board!

Regards,
Christopher Withington.
