A Journey into the Labyrinth of ExistenceÂ…
The establishment of ‘Total Theatre’ – the Annie Stainer School of Physical Theatre – at Mosman Park Arts Foundation, Camelot – has been an exciting development in the West Australian cultural landscape.
The school, directed by Annie Stainer, internationally acclaimed performer, much-loved teacher, & ex Head of Movement (Theatre) at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, complemented by an impressive team of sessional experts, has given its inaugural 12 students an intensive training in all aspects of theatre.
We invite you to witness the culmination of the students’ first year of training as they combine a multitude of elements from murder mystery and Greek Epic Drama to parallel universe theory in their final production ‘Labyrinth’ – A Cosmic Comedy.
The student ensemble (Naomi Ashcroft, Brodie Caporn, Nicki Eddington, Yvonne Fies, Nathan Grassi, Warren Herbu, Sheralee Hodge, Michelle Hovane, Scotty Kuhn, Carla Nirella, Emma St. Clair-Ford & Andrew Suttar) will be supported by the Camelot Swing Band, the Eneksis Vocal Ensemble, the Cottage ChildrenÂ’s Choir & Bubble Infinity.
Audiences will journey into an enchanting world of magic, memory, story and dream in this promenade style physical theatre production.
