SET BUILDER/PAINTER REQUIRED

The Knox’s Gateway Production Company is seeking the services of a Set Builder/ Artistic Painter to construct the sets required for our next School Holiday Production of “Annie”.

The show is staged at the Knox Community Arts Centre, which is an intimate theatre setting located in Bayswater, Victoria. The set design has been created to create a minimum number flats to maximise the stage space available.

A remuneration fee is paid for the work undertaken. The successful applicant needs to have the ability to be able to create light, shade and depth as well as two and 3 dimensional effect in their painting techniques.

It is estimated that the task will take approximately 20 hours to complete and the working hours can be adjusted to suit the successful applicant. After hours and weekend access is available.

KnoxÂ’s Gateway is set up to provide an avenue for young people to gain skills in the performing arts industry, by creating a performance opportunity where the can work alongside professionals form the industry. At the same time, we are endeavouring to nurture the love of theatre to children from an early age.
