Performers sought for fundraiser
Wed, 27 Feb 2002, 01:56 amWeÂ’ve decided to announce our existence with a bang! Pear Shaped Theatre Inc. will be officially launched at a Gala Cocktail Party in early April (everyone in the know will be there!), to present ourselves to the public and raise funds for future projects. Help us make it the party of the year! WeÂ’re looking for performers to wow the guests and showcase the diversity of performance arts in WA. Musicians, dancers, jugglers, firetwirlersÂ… whatever you do, we want you! Are you a dance, music, circus or theatre student? A street performer? Maybe you teach? Or are you a professional? Solo performers and small groups wanted! If you are willing to give up some of your time, have some fun and show off your talents to an adoring audience, then let us know! This is a fundraising event for a non-profit organisation, so performances must be on a voluntary basis, but the opportunity offers great publicity, including exposure on our website, and in all promotional material for the event, plus you get free entry to a fantastic party!
