Where Do You Find Audition Info??

Hi Guys!

I have been looking every spare minute for any info about auditions for singing, acting or dancing. The only way I ever hear about auditions is from other people, and normally that is too late.

Is there somewhere where I can find audition information, or can I get on a mailing list or anything? I have tried everyting that I can think of ... does anyone know where I can find out this information?

If in WA try the 'auditions' button on the front page of this web-site.
If not then join the local community theatre association in your own state, there is one in each state, look around in your area for a local theatre and contact them, most are in the phone book.

The audition button on this website covers all states in Australia, just make sure you check your state.

There is an industry mag called Stage Whispers which is for amateur theatre, and covers auditions for each state in Aus, plus has other useful information. If you are near a uni or other acting school, you could go in and check the notice board in their drama section, they would have notices up.

Also, there are a couple of yahoo groups for actors which you could join. I know there are specific ones for Melbourne and Sydney, Melbourne also has an msn community for straight theatre. Try
