Wow - it looks like you are going to be the man to beat at Da Doo Run Run this week, mate...
For an explanation of this impro-based in-joke, come along to Comedy Sportz, at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Show starts at 7pm, and runs thursday, friday, and saturday. This thursday will be very interesting - a 'battle of the sexes', if you will - pitting Maggie McPhee, Libby Klysz and Claire Hooper up against Craig Williams, Luke Hewitt, Gib Nolte, with myself, Toby Malone, moonlighting on both teams.
Get along and have a look and get an idea what Da Doo Run Run really is - and whether or not crg's impressive rhyme scheme is able to be replicated under pressure on the night...!
Cheers
Toby
Hmmm....seems the pressure got to me that night; survived a few harder rhymes but dropped the ball on a dead easy one!
And although I found the irony entertaining, it really wasn't fair to challenge me to find a whole verse rhyming with "Craig"!
Last night of Comedysportz tonight folks, but the good news is that the last two shows by Spontaneous Insanity have been so popular that we are looking at the possibility of starting regular gigs at a permanent venue!
Cheers,
Vague
