Actors required
Sat, 25 Aug 2001, 04:46 pmActors required for student short film, 'Wake Up Call'. We are chasing actors (two male, one female) to star in a short film being produced by a group of five final year media production students from Murdoch University.
Unfortunately we cannot offer any financial incentive, and we will consider people with any level of experience and training.
The film is to be shot over the next 4 weeks, and will probably require a time commitment of approximately fifteen hours over that time, shooting of which is at this stage unscheduled.
We are looking for actors aged in the 19-24 year age group, and we are prepared to be very flexible with peoples availability.
The shooting locations are predominately around the Melville/Murdoch area except for some scenes to be shot at the Sapphire bar in Subiaco.
The film is basically a dramatic 'love triangle' scenario, and we would welcome all expressions of interest.
Apart from e-mail I can be contacted by phone on;
0402 823 785, and we aim to cast the various parts during this week.

Dear Kassi Potter,
Unfortunatly, I do not regard myself as a proffesional actor, just for my passion. ( I think you have confused me with doing this film, Greg Norton actually posted the 'Actors Required' message.)
I can however give you some tips, as of course, you are not young at all to do acting, providing you continue with school or have something to do in the meantime/ fall back on :
1.) Join a casting agency. You can look these up in the yellow pages under 'Modelling and Casting Agency'
Send in a couple of recent shots, as well as doing drama classes at your preffered agency.
2.) Do communty theatre.
3.) Check in newspapers and on this site for upcoming theatre production auditions, as well as mini-series and films being shot locally in your area.
