i have written a short film and a few one act plays. I was just wondering when you want the scripts by? I would be interested in submitting, however i would want to re-write my script for use.

RE: Seeking short film script
A short film "Positive Expecations", based on my own short story which won the Postalk Short Story Competition 2000.
This is a story that looks at the reconciliation of a father and son and the issues they have to deal with, such as Aboriginality, homosexuality and aids. This is a two handed piece and comes in two drafts: one; the entire film is on one set with some inside to outside shots; two; the piece is shot with street work added to the previously stated draft with this, the second draft, being about 15-17 minutes with the first draft only 12-13 minutes.
Scriptwriter is not "precious" and totally able to work in and with ensemble type work.
Previous experince:
BCA in Creative Writing, University of Wollongong (UOW), Wollongong, 1995-1998
MA in Creative Writing: Writing for Theatre, UOW, Wollongong, 1999
Currently, a PhD candidate in the English Studies Program; Urban Aboriginal 'Voice', the discourse and legitimacy.
Author of "Buckley's Hope" a two act play that represented Australia at the 1999 US National Playwrights' Conference in Connecticut, USA.

Thanks to everyone who has emailed me with their short film scripts. Although I have not had a chance to reply to every email, I have certainly been reading the scripts with great interest and look forward to people sending in more. So, if you have not heard from me with regards to your script, please do not be discouraged!
