The Dogger's Run is a new play with songs by Geoffrey O'Connell and script by Drew Tingwell, and directed by Don Bridges which is playing now until July 1st at Chapel Off Chapel in Prahran (Melbourne)
The play concerns two journeys. The first is the Dogger played by Phil Sumner who travels the length of the 5000 mile dingo fence repairing the fence and culling the dingoes as he goes. He ponders life and relations and his part in the demise of the dingo as he travels.
The second story concerns Trahn and Su, a young Vietnamese couple played by Irving LaBrooy and Marie Ng, who desperately flee their home country to seek asylum in Australia.
Wednesday to Saturday at 8-30 and Sundays at 6-30.
Tickets are $15 and $12 concession.
