Using SpareTickets to boost your audience
Thu, 21 June 2001, 08:03 amSpareTickets is a new Perth based business designed to facilitate the sale of last minute left-over tickets at discount prices. It is internet based and uses the medium to allow promoters to reach a large audience with their offers in a short space of time.
The aim of the site is to encourage people to be more flexible in their entertainment choices by offering them the opportunity to go to different sorts of events at enticing prices.
Ticket Promoters (once registered) have password access to the web site where they can setup and control their own ticket offers. There is no charge for becoming a SpareTickets Promoter or for lodging your offers on the web site. SpareTickets charges a commission only on sales made through the web site.
For a limited time Promoters can try the site out for free - no commission charges apply.
Amateur drama and performance groups can use the web site for free subject to certain conditions (see the web site for more details).
