I am the author of a play that has proven to be extremely popular with audiences in the USA, London, Dublin, Sydney, New Zealand and elsewhere. The American premiere of the play -SIXTEEN WORDS FOR WATER - was staged by the Miniature Theatre in the Berkshires last summer, directed by Byam Stevens. This production was followed by another in Washington State in January/February this year. I am wondering whether there might be any Australian companies out there that would be interested in mounting a new Australian production.

The play is about the poet, Ezra Pound, during his confinement in the "nuthouse" in Washington DC, and his discovery of an ancient Aboriginal myth. The play has a cast of three and utilises one set. Let me know if you would be interested in having a look at the script. Alternatively, it can be accessed on-line through my site. You can find out more about this play and myself by visiting my website at http://ezrapound.cjb.net
