Unarmed Stage Combat Class

A few months ago, Andy Fraser introduced himself on this page. Andy is a qualified and experienced Fight Director and Stage Combat Instructor, and his offer of assistance generated some interest on this page and amongst people that I spoke to. You can read Andy's offer and resume' on the following link:

Consequently, the ITA approached Andy to hold a Workshop/Masterclass open to all interested. For the cost of a measly ten bucks, you can attend this 2-3 hour class (which will include afternoon tea) at 2 pm on Saturday May 12. The class is in an easily accessible central location: City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street, West Perth (premises of the ITA Office).

Andy has offered his experience to theatre groups around Perth, and this would be the perfect opportunity to get an (inexpensive) example of his services. If you're thinking of directing a fight scene, or being in a fight scene, and you haven't got a chesty redhead close at hand, how can you afford NOT to spend a lousy $10 for some expert tips. (Not calling you cheap, Andy, but I'm sure Amanda's services come a lot more expensively (expansively?))

There will be a booking form in the May edition of the ITA Link newsletter, or you can simply phone or email the ITA Secretary (Norma Davis) on 9420-7242 or 9457-2471 A/H, or davisrn@cygnus.uwa.edu.au

Those of you who don't attend will forevermore live in mortal dread of those lucky few of us who will be taught to maim and kill with but a single toenail or strand of hair. You have been warned not to miss this class!

Thanks Cory for your endorsement, I hope we will be able to present Andy with a reasonable number of students.
