Fight Director in town
Thu, 8 Mar 2001, 03:05 pmDear All,
Hello, my name is Andy Fraser and I'm writing to introduce myself after being kindly directed to this website by Norma Davis.
I am a Fight Director and Stage Combat Instructor and I have recently emigrated to Perth from the U.K. I am a member of and hold certification from both the Society of Australian Fight Directors and the British Academy of Dramatic Combat.
For the past seven years I have worked extensively in the theatrical community in Britain choreographing fights for productions and training performers in the techniques of stage combat.
I would like to offer my services to anyone out there who feels that they could use my skills either with regard to a specific production, or on a workshop basis.
As well as teaching and choreographing (both armed and unarmed combat), I have a "class set" of theatrical swords for use in workshops and "production grade" weapons (suitable for public performance) available for hire.
If you are interested in arranging something or just feel like making a general inquiry, then I would love to hear from you as it will help me get to know the scene better here in Perth. I am easily reached by reply of e-mail on: zamooseketeer@yahoo.com
or on the phone (08)-9301-0120 mobile: 0417-980-366.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully I'll speak to you soon.
Happy Swashbuckling!
Andy Fraser.
