HELP!!!

Hello
I don't know if anyone can help but I need some advice.
I am from the UK and I have been offered the opportunity to do something very exciting in the theatre industry in Sydney.
The only thing is I have to go home on my visa in September and this thing isn't until January next year.
Does anyone know of any way I can get to stay out here?
Does anyone know about anywhere I can go to for help?
