Looking for Roles in Sydney

Like a number of others here I have noticed there's not much on this site which relate to Sydney. Myself and some friends have just done a pretty basic acting course and are looking for an amateur theatre company in Sydney where we can get involved in some productions. We're all really committed to this, having caught the 'bug' and would appreciate someone pointing us in the right direction.
If anyone has any ideas of where to look or of any companies who could do with some inexperienced and enthusiastic people to get involved with acting, I'd be grateful if you could let me know.

I don't have any first-hand experiences with these companies other than as an audience member, but try Phoenix Theatre Productions (Chatswood - they do a lot of productions at the Zenith Theatre in Chatswood) or Riverside Lyric Ensemble (Parramatta, Riverside Theatres).
