Opera West (Inc.), a new initiative in opera production in W.A., is casting its 2001 season, which will consist of two fully staged productions and a series of concerts.
Auditions will be held at U.W.A. on November 18th.
Requirements are for professionally trained operatic (or getting there) voices.
Good English diction is essential, as all Opera West productions are sung in English.
All auditions are by specific time appointment only.
Auditionees are asked to prepare three contrasting arias. At least one must be in English. (No show tunes or operetta, please)
A pianist will be at the auditions, or you may bring your own accompanist.

As you can see from my CV I’m fully qualified director with all – round experience in drama & opera. I have the significant practical skills in actor’s mastership training, based on Stanislavsky method and my own actor’s experience (special practical course that develop the personal creativity and improvising and gives the strong foundation for acting). I can offer the original (classical & modern) versions of Chekhov, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Gorky etc. (drama); Tchaikovsky, Musorgsky, Borodin, Stravinasky, Prokofiev etc. (opera).
